Lucas began in Physics before completing a DPhil in Modern Languages; a combination reflecting both analytical precision and a deep curiosity for structure. He brings this clarity to his work in the film industry and, since 2021, to the dance floor.

Approaching Tango with a methodical mindset, Lucas sees strong technique as the gateway to artistic freedom. Yet for him, the dance is ultimately where the mind slows down, shifting focus to connection, musicality, and the shared moment.

Drawing on a background in jazz drumming and a deep passion for classical music, he brings strong musical instincts to his dancing. A Tango DJ since 2022, he is known for a sharp ear honed by multiple hours of daily listening to Tango. He travels regularly to international marathons, drawn to the immersive conversation within the couple and the music.
