Lorena Gianpiero

đź“… 16 – 18 May2025 | 📍 Salsa Cuba Club, Landsberger Str. 20 | Tango Seminar Weekend |

We’re thrilled to welcome Lorena and Gianpiero back to Munich for a special edition of Tango Flow workshops – and this time, we’re doing things differently.

Instead of standalone workshops, we invite you to dive into an immersive learning journey with seminars for couples.
This deep-dive format allows time to explore a core concept across two days, developing both technical precision and expressive creativity.
As always, the weekend begins with our signature Friday evening individual technique class, open to single dancers (leaders and followers). This is your chance to refine your personal technique and connect with others before the couple-focused seminar begins.

🎯 Seminar Theme:

Connection Seminar: Muscle Tone and Invisible Communication

Dancing together is not just about understanding each other—it’s a lifelong journey into body awareness, learning to merge with your partner through subtle and effective communication.

In this seminar, we’ll explore how the quality of body compactness—ranging from flexible to firm—affects the interpretation and most importantly, the result of the lead-follow dialogue.

From the most basic movements to the most complex sequences, everything in tango is rooted in body structure.
Expect a mix of theory and lots of practice, complete with examples, partner exercises, sequences, and enriching ideas to elevate your dance from within.

Read more about Gianpiero and Lorena:

Gianpiero Galdi

He was only 12 when his father (engineer, martial art teacher, and tango lover) involved him in a project for youngsters to approach tango. He fell in love with tango during his first trip to Buenos Aires when he was only 15. And since then, he’s been studying with all the significant Maestros.

Gianpiero became a teacher and started performing in Italy and abroad at 18. He quickly realized that he wanted to dedicate his life to tango. Since then, he traveled around and performed with many great dancers, such as Mila Vigdorova, Corina Herrera, and finally, with Maria Filali, with whom he created a flourishing dialogue and a refined project, which has been internationally acclaimed.

He connects pedagogy with his studies of music, engineering, and bio-mechanic. His methodology focuses on a simple and efficient technique, based on natural laws and aware listening. For more than a decade, he has been developing a complete didactic and intriguing training method. To deepen his research, he also graduated in Motor and Sports Activities and Psychomotor Education Science. In 2019, he became a trainer of the Gyrotonic Method.
